About The Position
The General Manager in Training role involves a variety of physical tasks and specific duties related to store operations and product delivery. Requirements
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Responsibilities
- Perform most tasks from a standing position
- Walk short distances for short durations
- Travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location
- Complete paperwork in an office at a desk or table
- Unload bulk product deliveries using a hand truck
- Lift and stack cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Carry large cans (3 pounds, 7 ounces) from workstation to storage shelves
- Carry pizza sauce (30 pounds) from storage room to the front of the store
- Carry trays of pizza dough (approximately 12 pounds per tray) over short distances
- Carry pizzas and beverages during delivery while walking and climbing
- Push trays placed on dollies, requiring a force of up to 7.5 pounds
- Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance
- Navigate five or more flights of stairs during product delivery
- Perform forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station, front counter, and when stocking ingredients
- Crouch/squat occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas
- Reach continuously (up, down, and forward) to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on signs, lift/lower objects to/from shelves, scoop cornmeal, wash dishes, obtain topping ingredients, clean work surfaces, or answer phones
- Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area
- Make several deliveries per shift
- Deliver flyers and door hangers
