Requirements

  • Leadership Strength: Experience leading culinary or foodservice operations in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or high‑end dining environments.
  • Culinary Expertise: Strong background in menu creation, kitchen management, and quality food production—with a passion for local, fresh ingredients.
  • Operational Savvy: Skills in budgeting, staffing, compliance, safety, and driving continuous improvement across all dining operations.
  • People‑Centered Mindset: Commitment to delivering warm, thoughtful service rooted in the spirit of aloha and building community within a diverse resident population.
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

  • Lead Daily Operations: Oversee all foodservice and dining functions for a high‑end healthcare/senior living community, ensuring exceptional quality, efficiency, and hospitality.
  • Develop & Inspire Teams: Manage and mentor a talented group of culinarians and frontline staff, creating a culture of excellence, growth, and teamwork.
  • Deliver Culinary Excellence: Design and execute fresh, locally inspired menus that provide residents with an elevated, restaurant‑style dining experience.
  • Partner & Collaborate: Build strong relationships with residents, clients, and staff to ensure outstanding service, operational alignment, and guest satisfaction.
