About The Position

General Manager / Chef Manager Sodexo Corporate Services | St. Gobain – Malvern, PA Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a General Manager / Chef Manager to lead a dynamic corporate dining program at St. Gobain in Malvern, PA. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who thrives in a client-facing environment and enjoys full ownership of a multifaceted food operation. About the Role As the #1 on site , you will oversee the entire day-to-day operation, including a modern café, catering, and Office Coffee Service (OCS) program. You’ll serve as the primary client partner while leading a small, dedicated team and delivering an exceptional workplace dining experience. Why Sodexo? Requirements

  • A hands-on chef-minded operator who enjoys being involved in daily production
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and profitability
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships in a corporate or hospitality settingA positive, “can‑do” attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile
  • Pride in delivering high-quality food and memorable guest experiences
  • Leadership presence and the ability to motivate a small team
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, building strong and trusted relationships
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the operation, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Drive menu planning and culinary innovation for café and catering programs
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, and food cost controls
  • Manage and execute catering production and service
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of 6 hourly associates , fostering engagement and accountability
  • Ensure consistent excellence in food quality, presentation, safety, and service
