About The Position

Sodexo Government is seeking a General Manager 4 to support the food operations located in Silver Spring, MD. The General Manager is responsible for food quality & customer service in a retail environment. Candidates should be passionate, highly motivated, and enjoy client and customer interaction. The General Manager will provide leadership and supervision to the on-site food service staff and oversee the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client.

Requirements

• the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
• knowledge of compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards
• Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience – 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

• have oversight of day-to-day dining operations
• ensure that we provide high quality food service
• implement Sodexo systems and programs, and oversee training of staff
• continuously evaluates service to ensure client satisfaction
• develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships
