About The Position
Four Seasons Hotel Boston is looking for a General Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guest depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance. Main purpose of the role is to provide service, preventative maintenance, and repairs for all kitchen equipment throughout the hotel, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of food & beverage outlets. Perform general building maintenance, emergency repair duties, and participate in shift rotations as needed to support overall Engineering operations.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- High school education or equivalent.
- 3 months to 1 year in kitchen maintenance, general building maintenance, or hotel engineering.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, gas, steam, refrigeration, dish machines, emergency repair response, and general building maintenance.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
