About The Position

General Ledger Accountant Crook County Medical Services District is currently looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our team! This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer and will ensure complete and accurate accounting records for the organization. This position will also assist with the development, completion, and publishing of the annual budget. Work Schedule: This is a hybrid work schedule; applicants must be located within a 100-mile radius of Crook County Medical Services District to be considered.

Technical accounting skills.
Written and verbal communication skills to share accounting information when needed.
Proficiency with accounting software - Multiview .
Proficient in Excel.
Proficient in Microsoft Power BI
Understanding of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work on a team and independently.
Strong organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in accounting
3 - 5 years Professional Accounting Experience

Nice To Haves

Auditing experience - preferred
May consider combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting
Reconciliation of all bank accounts.
Daily revenue postings into the accounting software and review for reasonableness.
Assist with month-end financials, post journal entries to general ledger, reconcile accounts, maintain required documentation , other duties as necessary.
Review budget reports and assist other departments with annual budget preparation and monthly monitoring as needed.
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
Maintain documentation of accounting procedures and policies.
Lease management.
Contract management.
Other duties as assigned.
Payroll Serve as the back-up payroll processor .
Accounts Payable & Cash Flow Management Assist with Accounts Payable processing, reconciliations, and problem resolution.
Management of Cash Flow
