The General Ledger Accountant I is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the accounting team with daily financial operations. This position will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, preparing journal entries, and supporting the month-end close process. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress)
• 0–2 years of accounting or relevant internship experience preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Support audits by providing the requested documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting records
