About The Position
IIA Fire Department Testing, a leading company in the fire safety industry, is looking for full-time Fire Equipment Technicians to join our New Jersey (Tinton Falls) team immediately. We provide an essential service testing fire equipment for fire departments at their locations. This is a General Labor position with no previous experience required. All training will be done on site. The starting hourly rate is $18.00/hour. Work is during the months of February through December.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to work
- Be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Hard working and very dependable
Responsibilities
- Removing all hose from fire apparatus and racks
- Performing required recordings and tests
- Repacking hoses to the proper place
