About The Position
WE’RE HIRING – GENERAL LABOR POSITION Location: Santa Teresa, New Mexico Position: General Labor (Metal Recycling Plant) Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Salary $12.50. Weekend and overtime work required as needed. Requirements: Must be able to clear a background check Steel-toe shoes required Resume required and interview will take place at client location Reliable transportation and strong work ethic preferred What You’ll Do: Separate incoming materials into different piles (copper, silver, plastic, etc.) Safely operate and maintain your assigned work area and equipment Package materials (bales, super sacks, boxes, pallets, etc.) according to instructions Manually unload materials from customer vehicles Keep your workspace tidy, organized, and clean Greet and assist customers courteously and professionally Complete all paperwork and reports accurately and on time Perform inspections and report any issues or damages Help with sorting and preparing materials for shipment. Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or department manager. Physical Requirements: You’ll be on the move—walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
