About The Position

This position provides maintenance to the golf course, course facilities, and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include upkeep of the property such as weed wacking, power washing, mowing, weeding, picking up trash/debris, and general maintenance activities. The role requires general knowledge of hand tools, power tools, ladders, and powered equipment, as well as the ability to operate specific equipment like weed eaters, mowers, tractors, trenchers, and vehicles. The General Laborer will also maintain, replace, and prune plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers, and prepare and maintain golf course facilities, including cleaning restrooms, picking up litter, emptying trash, and removing garbage. Maintenance of mowing and landscaping vehicles/equipment is also part of the job. Knowledge of OSHA required standards and life safety equipment and systems is necessary. The individual will also assist other Team Members with duties as assigned.

Requirements

The ability to work in a fast –paced environment and stressful situations.
Ability to use all necessary tools and equipment for the task.
Ability to recognize/remedy safety concerns and utilize all personal protective equipment as required.
Time management & priority setting and work independently.
Troubleshooting & problem solving
The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
You will need to be available to work all shifts.
You must be at least 18 years old.
You also must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

Maintain, replace and prune plants, trees, shrubs and flowers.
Prepare and maintain golf course facilities; clean restrooms and pick up litter around golf course and parking lot, empty trash and remove garbage.
Maintain mowing and landscaping vehicles/equipment
Knowledge of OSHA required standards.
Life safety equipment and systems
Assist other Team Members with duties.
Other duties as assigned.
