About The Position

Overview: The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for duties related to warehousing such as receiving, loading, wrapping and inventory control. Job Description: Responsibilities: Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead. Operates forklifts to stack and retrieve product, supplies and operating materials. Receiving – unloading trucks, verifying condition and count of items received. Storing and Rotating – putting product away in designated areas such that old stock is available before any new stock is used. Shipping – consolidating footprints and readying orders for shipment including wrapping all pallets, loading trucks per SOP and work instruction. Inventory Control – helping to maintain an accurate count for the quantities of product on hand. Keeping Distribution areas in a clean and safe condition. Must keep pace with work area and team. Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members. Must follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Rules and Policies. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: No prior experience necessary. Preferred proficiency in the safe operations of a forklift – training will be provided. Must have the ability to read English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
