Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Successful completion of residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology
  • Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Virginia
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Valid DEA registration

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient practice with inpatient coverage responsibilities
  • Collaborate with 3 hospitalists, 10 outpatient physicians, and 2 advanced proceduralists
  • Teaching opportunities with Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine residents
