As part of this role, you’ll:
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
- Virginia Medical License (or eligibility)
- Valid DEA controlled substance registration
- Is passionate about women’s cardiovascular health
- Values patient education and empowerment
- Thrives in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment
- Is committed to clinical excellence and compassionate care
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic care
- Dedicate time to the Women’s Heart Center , seeing new referrals and established patients
- Perform and interpret diagnostic services including: Stress testing SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging Echocardiography Holter monitoring
- Participate in call responsibilities as part of a collaborative cardiology team
