About The Position

AdventHealth Riverview is seeking a compassionate and skilled Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our growing team in southern Hillsborough County. This brand-new, state-of-the-art hospital opened in 2024 and is designed to deliver exceptional care with advanced technology and a patient-first approach. In this role, you’ll collaborate with gastroenterologists and a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive digestive health services, ensuring whole-person care—body, mind, and spirit.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing and current APRN certification.
• Active Florida APRN license.
• Gastroenterology experience required for this position
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans for GI conditions.
• Assist with procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
• Educate patients and families on digestive health, prevention, and treatment options.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to AdventHealth’s mission and clinical standards.
