About The Position

Federated Co-ops is hiring for a Gas or Oil Driver to work out of our Ogilvie location. This position is suitable for an experienced driver or a trainee. As a Gas or Oil Driver, you will be responsible for safely loading fuel into a delivery truck and delivering it to customers' storage tanks and equipment. All operations must be conducted in accordance with company, division, and location policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must have a valid Driver's License.
Currently possess or able to obtain a class B Commercial Driver's License.
Currently possess or able to obtain Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements; and the ability to maintain endorsements required by the job.
Strong customer focus.
The ability to work overtime as business need dictates.
The ability to operate a manual transmission.

Nice To Haves

3-5 years of bulk fuel delivery or driving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely load fuel into the bulk truck and deliver into customers’ storage tanks and equipment in accordance to company, division, and location policy and procedures.
Drive and operate trucks, vehicles, equipment and tools safely and efficiently by following all current D.O.T. regulations, company policies, manufacturer instructions, State and local laws and codes, and any other applicable laws, codes or regulations.
Assist sales department with calls and potential sales target areas.
Inspect and maintain bulk facility, bulk truck and equipment continuously to ensure cleanliness, safety, proper operation and positive cooperative image.
Document all work as required by company, division, and location policy.
