About The Position

We are seeking a meticulous Garnishment Specialist to accurately process garnishments such as IRS levies, child support, student loans, bankruptcies, and credit agency claims into the MyHR (Oracle) Payroll and HR system. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding wage garnishments and will be adept at working with various reports out of Oracle and ADP.

Requirements

• 4+ years of garnishment experience.
• Experience with Oracle.
• Proficiency in general ledger, accounting, month-end procedures, balance sheet, and Excel analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ADP Smart Compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process all garnishments including IRS levies, child support, student loans, bankruptcies, and credit agencies.
• Work extensively with the MyHR (Oracle) Payroll and HR system.
• Utilize knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding wage garnishments.
• Generate and analyze reports out of Oracle and ADP.
• Audit new and revised garnishments to ensure accuracy.
• Complete and notarize wage worksheets, then mail them to the appropriate agency.
• Send notifications to affected employees advising them of their garnishment.
• Assist employees with questions pertaining to their wage writs.
• Handle incoming mail daily and perform related tasks.
