Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or vocational training, or job-related course work
  • Previous landscaping or horticulture experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Valid State Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Keep detailed greenhouse records in Excel.
  • Harvest produce for Food and Beverage.
  • Trim and clean produce.
  • Apply fertilizer, pest, and disease treatments to greenhouse plants.
  • Wash and sanitize tools, growing containers, and workstations.
  • Start seeds and transplant seedlings when ready.
  • Collect and properly store seeds.
  • Propagate plants using sterile tools and proper technique.
  • Hand pollinate flowers.
  • Amend soil in raised beds.
  • Dispose of waste and plant matter.
  • Identify pests and diseases on landscape plants.
  • Assist Landscaping team when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assist in organizing and carrying out spring planting.
  • Replace damaged landscape plants when necessary.
  • Water outdoor planters daily while removing weeds and dead flowers.
  • Maintain outdoor garden beds.
  • Routinely apply deer and rabbit repellent to planters.
  • Assist with holiday light deployment and removal.
  • Assist in snow removal.
  • Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests and team members at all times, take pride in representing Paws Up Montana professionally with our guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical, and confidential manner.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Resort team members to foster and promote a positive working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times.
  • Perform work in a safe and high-quality manner.
