Garage Supervisor will work across multiple areas of the shop overseeing day-to-day operations, while ensuring team member safety and maintaining efficient workflow. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading/developing his/her team while meeting KPI’s based around team strategy and through put, accountable for safety, compliance, and on-going training for his/her team, driving proficiency and efficiency in their operation of control. Ability to communicate effectively with Driver’s, PFM Supervisors, Transportation Operations, and Dealers to schedule maintenance of equipment. Ability to safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned equipment. Must be able to instruct technicians in obtaining and interpreting instructions, manuals, and schematics. Must be proficient in EPA / OSHA compliance, policies, and procedures. Effectively communicating workflow with technicians, and the ability to assign work to proper technician to maintain efficiency. Must be able to effectively communicate expectations with Team Members. Ensures all Team Members maintain a clean and SAFE work environment. Must have working knowledge of all equipment and communicate effectively with technicians on proper procedures of repair. Proficiency in SAP Maintenance systems including, work order creation, running PM reports, and scheduling maintenance on equipment. Basic computer skills including e-mail, internet, Excel spreadsheets, SAP Maintenance, and telematics tracking systems. Ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend, and stoop for 12-hour shifts. Ability to manipulate 200lb tire/wheel assemblies with mechanical assistance. Valid Driver’s License required. Safety toe footwear required.
