Garage Attendant - The Edition Miami Beach
About The Position

In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth flow of traffic, monitoring capacity, and maintaining a clean and professional environment for customers. You will serve as a key point of contact for guests while ensuring the facility operates at peak efficiency.
Requirements
- No high school diploma is required
- At least one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and background
- A valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record is only required if you are expected to drive a company vehicle or conduct company business
- Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and accurately handle American currency
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, write short correspondence, and effectively present information to customers and team members
- Flexibility to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends may be required
- Must maintain a neat, clean appearance and wear the complete company uniform at all times
Responsibilities
- Direct incoming customers to available spaces and monitor vehicle counts throughout the shift to ensure optimal lot usage (Traffic & Capacity Management)
- Patrol parking levels (on foot or in motor carts) and issue violation warnings to those who bypass garage policies (Compliance & Enforcement)
- Courteously assist customers with questions, directions, and vehicle location. Direct guests to the Facility Manager when specialized assistance is needed (Customer Support)
- Assist with parking equipment repairs and general facility upkeep. Report accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences (like oil spills or debris) to the office immediately (Maintenance & Safety)
- Control traffic at entrances and exits during peak times. Substitute for Valets when authorized and necessary (Operational Support)
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the garage layout, as well as major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the surrounding area (Local Expertise)
