As the Senior Manager of Development, you join an exclusive team of leaders responsible for the implementation of Walk to End Alzheimer’s ® , the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This position also supports other campaigns such as Do What You Love to End Alzheimer’s, and leads the participation in Giving Hearts Day, a 24-hour day of giving for charities in North Dakota and northeast Minnesota. This position will be based in Fargo, ND and supervises the Development Manager in ND, who manages two Walks in Western North Dakota. Walk to End Alzheimer’s® ranks as the second-largest peer-to-peer fundraising event in the United States and continues to set the pace as one of the fastest-growing walk events in the country. Do What You Love to End Alzheimer’s is leading the peer-to-peer fundraising space with innovation and creativity, providing an excellent opportunity to engage new audiences in the fight to end Alzheimer’s among many diverse activity groups, from the golfing and hiking communities to live streamers and bridge players. Utilizing your proven networking and relationship-building skills to cultivate key community connections, you will drive success and achieve revenue goals by strategically identifying and engaging community and corporate leaders and building and empowering sustainable volunteer committees. As a successful fundraising leader who will manage Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Fargo and Grand Forks, ND and Do What You Love to End Alzheimer’s peer-to-peer fundraising events you will generate excitement and enthusiasm in your communities. You will coach and inspire your volunteers to implement and build on proven strategies and best practices that result in event growth year over year.
