About The Position

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for planning and executing fundraising programs to support Davis Street’s mission and revenue goals. This includes individual giving, corporate sponsorships, major donor engagement, annual campaigns, and fundraising events. This role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and supervises a staff member. The Fundraising Manager works closely with the Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and key stakeholders to design and implement effective fundraising strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in fundraising or related roles
  • Experience managing donor relationships and fundraising campaigns
  • Experience coordinating fundraising events
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Experience with donor databases or CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, Raiser’s Edge) preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive donor information
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee fundraising events, including donor cultivation events and major fundraising initiatives
  • Communicate and build relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and community partners
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of current, lapsed, and prospective donors
  • Plan and execute annual giving campaigns and other fundraising efforts
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet revenue goals
  • Collaborate with leadership and Board members to support fundraising efforts
  • Track fundraising performance and report results to executive leadership and the Board
  • Manage and maintain the donor database (CRM), ensuring accurate tracking of donor activity and contributions
  • Supervise an external support staff member for database management
  • Ensure timely and professional donor communications, including acknowledgments and follow-ups
  • Identify opportunities to grow revenue and expand the donor base
  • Other duties as assigned
