About The Position

Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position, which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with Medallion Bank is contingent on passing both a background check and maintaining a clean background. Who we are: At Medallion Bank we finance fun! How You Will Support The Team: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Funding Specialist to join the team and be responsible for the funding process of contracts received from dealers or contractors originated in an indirect lending department. Ensure smooth, quick, and efficient funding of loan contract. Involves direct communication with the dealer and the applicant to complete all funding requirements. Responds to funding inquiries from dealers or contractors and financial service providers. Performs other duties as necessary to support the goals and objectives of the department.

• Self-motivated and hard working.
• Must be able to handle multiple functions simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to successfully work in a team environment.
• Ability to make sound decisions and communicate decisions effectively.
• Willing to work on various projects as needed.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in effective contract funding is a plus but not required.
• Loan processing or funding experience in a consumer credit environment preferred, but willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient funding of loan contracts.
• Work with dealers or contractors and financial service providers to provide professional customer service and develop and strengthen relationships.
• Work to maintain and increase productivity within the department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
