About The Position

Functional AnalystAs required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen AND an active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance to be considered. Cherokee Federal is seeking a dedicated Functional Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating special projects and perform specialized technical tasks involved in the installation, maintenance, servicing, modification, troubleshooting and calibration of biomedical systems and instrumentation including care compliance policy updates and development, health information technology equipment and medical maintenance and Information Assurance initiatives. As a Functional Analyst, you will provide technical guidance and contribute to the management of documentation for medical equipment. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Functional Analyst: wage range starts at $80,000 - $90,000 Pay commensurate with experience. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Healthcare Technology Management (HTM)
  • Minimum of 4 years as an Analyst or Biomedical field is required.
  • Familiarity with DoD, DoN, and BUMED Life Cycle Management and Personal Property Management programs.
  • Hands-on experience with HTM equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of HTM equipment and systems.
  • Knowledge of the Defense Medical Logistics Support System (DMLSS) - Equipment Management Module (DMLSS is the approved APSR).
  • Knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques, pertinent characteristics of software, computer equipment, data-base management, and information systems security techniques in order to perform detailed analysis and studies.
  • Knowledge of concepts, policies, procedures and implementation strategies, to accomplish delivery of business requirements, processes, products and services.
  • Knowledge in training development of business/systems integration.
  • Proficient in transposing concepts and ideas in standard business and Navy correspondence format.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques, pertinent characteristics of software, computer equipment, data-base management, and information systems security techniques in order to perform detailed analysis and studies.
  • Knowledge in reviewing and analyzing financial submissions received from external sources during the entire Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process in support of Operational Forces Support Directorate and its mission to equip Navy ships with medical equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, TABLEAU, and BITAB.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to a systematic preventive maintenance program for complex integrated diagnostic systems and related biomedical instrumentation; provide engineering and technical counsel on codes to ensure compliance with safety standards; maintain maintenance records and prepare reports as required.
  • Provide assistance and instruction; recommend the purchase or acquisition of biomedical instrumentation or related accessories; make appropriate recommendations as required.
  • Coordinate and evaluate the work performed by vendors and verification of service documentation.
  • Perform a variety of routine tasks associated with the acceptance of a diverse range of biomedical instrumentation.
  • Develop Plans and Procedures for medical equipment to meet manufacturer recommendations
  • Review, analyze, track compliance, and disseminate budget analysis and reports.
  • Assist in the support of preventive maintenance programs for biomedical equipment.
  • Assist in the management of Technical Manuals for medical, dental, and diagnostic equipment used by our fleet and operational force customers.
  • Assist in the technical documentation for equipment support and procurement.
  • Generate various reports using government-maintained systems to assist in planning and operations of NMRLC-DET FTD.
  • Provide remote or onsite guidance on management of HTM Life Cycle Management throughout Naval Operational Forces and Navy fleet.
  • Maintain professional development through certifications and continuing education.
  • Maintain other training as indicated by Government Agencies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
