About The Position

In this role, you will work directly with youth and their families to address challenging behaviors through a structured, evidence-based treatment model. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, engage families in active, change-oriented therapy, and implement individualized treatment plans focused on achieving meaningful outcomes. Carrying a caseload of 10–12 clients, you will collaborate closely with families and community systems to build trust, ensure engagement, and support long-term success. Your work will include maintaining clear documentation aligned with the FFT model, participating in supervision and training, and delivering direct clinical services that make a tangible difference in the lives of those you serve. Requirements

  • Education Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field
  • Licenses & Certifications Must be registered with the Department of Health Professionals as Licensed Eligible (Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work). LPC, LCSW, LMFT

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a comprehensive initial assessment to include all desired treatment outcomes, assessment of systemic strengths and needs, comprehensive safety plan, and analysis of contributing factors to referral behaviors
  • Carry a caseload of 10-12 clients
  • Engage the entire family unit in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement
  • Implement problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, case outcome review, and strategy revision procedure
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the FFT model
  • Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system to ensure their buy-in and cooperation throughout FFT treatment
  • Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with the FFT model
  • Participate in all FFT training, supervision and consultation activities
