About The Position

Functional Analyst - Financials This is a vacancy for the 26-27 school year with a target start date of July 1, 2026 Mission: The ERP Functional Analyst - FINS is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing ERP solutions that align with business processes and objectives related to Financials. This role serves as a bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that ERP systems are optimized to support operational efficiency and strategic goals. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Location: This is a full-time (remote/on-site) position based in Texas, with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate. Travel Expectations: 0-2 times per year What You’ll Do – Accountabilities Essential Duties: · Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements. · Continuously evaluate and improve financial workflows and system performance. · Configure and maintain Workday ERP modules (e.g., Finance, procurement, etc.) to meet business needs. · Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality assurance. · Provide end-user training and support for ERP systems. · Maintain system documentation, including process flows, configuration settings, and user guides. · Support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Additional Duties and Responsibilities: · Support ERP upgrades, patches, and new module implementations. · Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal and external standards. · Supports legacy ERP system during ERP transition. Requirements

  • Graduate from a recognized four-year college or university preferably with a major in business administration, finance, accounting, management information systems, or a related field or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
  • 3+ years of experience with ERP configuration and support
  • 3+ years of experience in business process design
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Financials processes
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing project management frameworks to ensure project and team effectiveness
