About The Position
A warm and welcoming family in Greenwich, CT is seeking a full-time live-in or live-out career nanny to care for their two young children: a 2.5-year-old boy and a 7-month-old girl. Starting in September, the toddler will attend school five days per week; he is currently enrolled in a Twos program twice weekly. This role is ideal for a highly experienced, organized nanny who thrives in a semi-formal household and enjoys working in close partnership with parents. The family is seeking someone warm, professional, and engaging—able to balance nurturing care with structure, developmental guidance, and calm authority. They value teamwork and proactive care and are looking for a nanny who can anticipate needs, support smooth logistics, and integrate seamlessly into a well-run home. This position may be live-out or live-in during scheduled workdays. On days off, the nanny is off-duty and returns home. Schedule Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM (occasional flexibility for late nights) Travel: Domestic travel ~4 weeks spread over winter months, plus 4 weeks in the Hamptons Start Date Ideally March, could be sooner
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time nanny experience with babies and toddlers
- CPR & First Aid certified
- Valid driver’s license with clean record; confident driving in the tri-state area (nanny car provided)
- Vaccinated and willing to get annual flu shot
- Strong swimmer; able to supervise and join children in pool
- Comfortable working in a staffed household with a stay-at-home parent present
- Pet friendly
- Local to the NYC/tri-state area
- Comfortable traveling with the family up to 8 weeks per year (all expenses covered)
- Passport preferred but not required

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care for toddler and baby
- Manage daily routines: feedings, naps, bath time, and bedtime
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate developmental play and enrichment
- Organize outings, playdates, and structured activities for toddler
- Maintain tidy and organized children’s spaces (rooms, closets, playroom)
- Complete child-related tasks: laundry, toy rotation, stroller cleaning, preparing diaper and school bags
- Grocery shopping for the household and tracking pantry/child supplies
- Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for the children (no cooking for parents)
- Collaborate closely with mother on routines, parenting style, and daily plans
