Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of full cycle accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

CPA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the full cycle of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
Oversee job costing and project accounting, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and timely invoicing.
Maintain and update financial records and documentation.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations.
Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve financial issues and discrepancies.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Monitor cash flow and manage financial transactions.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the company remains compliant.
