Arkansas Talent Group is proud to partner with a faith-based organization in Little Rock, AR is seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. This vital role will oversee all aspects of daily accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and alignment with the organizations mission. The ideal candidate brings strong QuickBooks expertise, high attention to detail, and experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience, ideally in nonprofit or small business environments.
  • Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and/or Online.
  • Strong understanding of the complete accounting cycle and GAAP standards.
  • Exceptional accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including vendor management, customer billing, and collections.
  • Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain and review the general ledger, ensuring transactions are recorded properly and consistently.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as part of the month-end close process.
  • Generate and analyze financial statements and management reports for leadership review.
  • Support budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Maintain well-organized financial documentation for compliance and audit readiness.
  • Coordinate with external accountants on year-end reporting and 1099 preparation.
