Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and effectively manage workload . Comfortable handing day to day client communication and able to work with various client accounting systems. General ledger maintenance, payroll tax processing and reporting, and B&O preparation; including: Payroll tax & payroll tax deposit Various city revenue tax/B&O Annual information: 1096, 1099-MISC Check figures, posting and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy and proper codes. Classify, allocate , record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records using journals and ledgers or computers. Accurately enter accounting data. Prepare monthly reconciliation of bank and financial statements. License renewals. Liaison for insurance and audit related duties/inquiries. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of progressive responsibility Full-Charge Bookkeeping experience.
  • Accounting degree or certification.
  • Highly proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online) and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Very high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues at all levels in the organization and externally with clients.
  • Ability to be a team player and collaborate with other team members in the organization.
  • Ability to pass a background check ( includes criminal and credit) upon receiving and accepting an employment offer.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Buildertrend or other construction software is preferred.
