About The Position

We are pleased to announce the following available position: FT Marketing Business Development Representative Apply at www.riverpointbehavioral.com The Marketing Representative is responsible for the overall marketing and promotion of River Point’s programs and services while maximizing referral potentials from assigned referral accounts, and developing new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the Strategic Marketing Plan. Territory is serving: The Greater Jacksonville, Fl Area, and possibly other Northern Florida locations.

Requirements

minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a Behavioral Health Area, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field
minimum of two (2) years experience in health care business development, healthcare marketing and sales, contract management environment with measurable business development results, pharmaceutical/medical sales, and a basic knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, preferred
ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
ability to write reports and business correspondence
Possess excellent telephone and people skills, and good negotiation skills
Works well in developing and maintaining referral resources, and educating them of the services provided within River Point
ability to identify and solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Must be able to motivate and communicate well with people in crisis and to overcome objections/denial
Employee can communicate effectively and diplomatically with other departments, and with clients
Must have a valid driver’s license with minimal moving violations in the past (3) years

Nice To Haves

Masters degree is preferred
A licensed social worker or RN, also preferred
