Requirements

  • A proven FSQA leader with deep experience in USDA-regulated protein or meat manufacturing environments
  • Confident navigating HACCP systems, NRs, audits, and regulatory relationships with a proactive, solutions-first mindset
  • A hands-on coach who builds accountable, high-performing QA teams on the plant floor
  • Driven by continuous improvement, using data and root cause analysis to prevent issues before they occur

Responsibilities

  • Lead USDA compliance efforts, act as primary liaison, and oversee HACCP, CCP validation, and food safety programs
  • Supervise, coach, and develop QA Technicians while driving accountability to KPIs and plant standards
  • Own resolution of NRs, deviations, and escalations, implementing sustainable corrective actions
  • Partner cross-functionally to strengthen sanitation, sampling programs, and overall food safety systems
