About The Position

Directly trains and coordinates the activities of sanitation technicians in assigned zones, following all sanitation program processes and Company policies. Follows up and reinforces food safety and product quality information provided to new employees in orientation. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the assigned line/department requirements and competently demonstrates the skills required for each department. Adheres to all workplace and food safety policies and procedures outlined by the company and required by federal, state, and local laws. Evaluate trainee progress and maintain records of trainee's progress and achievements. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of management within the organization. Communicates effectively with all employees and provides direction, instructions, and feedback based on the employee's experience level. Develop content, as necessary, for new product specifications. Follows up and provides appropriate feedback and recognition based on level of performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in food science, environmental health, public health, or a related field or equivalent or experience in a food manufacturing facility. Work experience in industrial sanitation in a food manufacturing facility is preferred.
  • Laboratory, either chemical or microbial experience preferred.
  • Must have adequate experience to demonstrate thorough knowledge, skills, and abilities of both commercial and technical aspects related to FSQA for the pork business.
