Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate registers and handle transactions.
  • Ability to follow instructions, memorize procedures, and work independently.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and work in cold environments.
  • Meets safety and age requirements to operate balers and electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Grocery Manager in directing daily frozen food department operations, including supervision and training of associates.
  • Stock, rotate, face, and maintain frozen food products; remove out-of-code, spoiled, or damaged items.
  • Order, receive, store, and manage frozen inventory, including backroom organization.
  • Monitor temperatures in freezers, coolers, and cold cases to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Build displays and support merchandising for daily and seasonal promotions.
  • Maintain clean, safe aisles and work areas, including baling cardboard and cleaning floors.
  • Support front-end and grocery operations as needed, including cashiering and dry grocery order writing.
  • Assist with reclamation processes and onboarding of new items.
