As our Front Desk Coordinator / Administrative Assistant, you will support daily operations in a fast‑paced behavioral health outpatient clinic by:

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Administrative or front office experience preferred
  • Experience in behavioral healthcare, mental health services, or addiction treatment is a plus
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of federal and state compliance standards in behavioral healthcare
  • Ability to learn new systems, including electronic medical records (EMR) software
  • Ability to respond appropriately to high‑risk or crisis situations
  • Possession of strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • candidates selected for hire must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and any required state‑mandated clearances. Employment is contingent upon meeting all screening requirements in accordance with federal, state, and accrediting‑body regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Managing front office operations for the facility
  • Greeting and assisting clients entering the treatment center
  • Overseeing appointment scheduling and coordination
  • Maintaining, filing, and transferring medical records
  • Performing clerical and administrative tasks, including answering phones, mailing, filing, copying, faxing, and typing
  • Ordering and maintaining office and client supplies
  • Assisting with intake processes and billing sheets
  • Managing office equipment and vendor communication
  • Handling petty cash
  • Ensuring a clean, organized, and professional office environment
  • Performing other duties as assigned
