About The Position
Our clinic is looking for a motivated and dependable student worker to join our office staff where you can build professional skills, interact with patients, and be a part of a collaborative team. This position presents a unique opportunity to interact with clients who experience a wide range of communication abilities and come from a diverse population. You will work closely with: Student clinicians and faculty members across the clinic disciplines including audiology, counseling, and speech-pathology. Full-time clinic staff who will provide training and supervision.
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information (HIPAA and FERPA) responsibly.
- Professional phone and in-person etiquette.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Maintain appropriate attire for clinic environment (Bear wear shirts, jeans, business casual, or black scrubs.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Greet and check in patients for appointments, including administering necessary paperwork.
- Scan, import, and organize documents in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Assist with inventory of therapy materials as well as office supplies.
- Make copies and assemble packets.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming clinic environment.
- Support staff with additional projects as needed.
