About The Position

We are looking for a responsible Front-End Manager to undertake a variety of managerial tasks in collaboration with or in the absence of a higher-level manager. You will assist upper management in incorporating strategy and ensuring the store meets its goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong business mindset and leadership capabilities. The goal is to secure the effective operation of our business and the satisfaction of our clients to achieve accelerating and sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • Employees must be courteous, attentive, and professional with customers, vendors and peers and represent the company in a manner that will not discredit or disparage while on the clock and when in uniform outside of work.
  • Employees must follow all safety rules and procedures and ensure that the store is kept in compliance with safety regulations at all times.
  • Attendance and timeliness are a must for each shift.
  • Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds. With or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and/or bend over a worktable for duration of shift. With or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work with ADA approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Understanding of and compliance with company quality goals.
  • Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
  • Other related duties as may be needed in the department.
  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly fluency in English.
  • Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members.
  • Ability to follow directions and procedures, effective time management and organization skills.
  • Understanding of and compliance with company quality goals.

  • Grocery store and/or retail experience to include at least 1 year in a leadership role

Responsibilities

  • Arrives at the workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required training courses and meetings.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Supervisor direct reporting staff according to overall company policy daily

  • Delegate work duties to staff to attain objectives
  • Train staff to maximize efficiency and potential.
  • Monitor and assist staff with work progress.
  • Establish and maintain controls.
