About The Position

The Marriott Hutchinson Island is seeking to add an exemplary Front Desk Leader to our amazing team of front desk associates. The position requires the professionalism, experience and hospitality of a true leader who LOVES and is passionate about our Guests, our Brand and our Team!

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guests at all times.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, in a friendly and proficient manner.
  • Handle guest phone inquiries, mail and messages, per established procedures.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies.
  • Take reservation requests efficiently.
  • Answer switchboard ( PBX ) in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette.
  • Block rooms and handle special requests.
  • Monitor room availability and offer FOM, Rooms Director and GM assistance when needed.
  • Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures.
  • Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures.
