About The Position

Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical service, and research. PAR’s Medication Assisted Patient Services (MAPS) Program provides quality out-patient opioid maintenance therapy to individuals suffering from the effects of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: This position coordinates care in a fast-paced, out-patient substance use disorder treatment setting. Tasks include (though are not limited to): Checking in patients Administering drug screens Documentation in electronic health record Verifying insurance/grant eligibility Reviewing financial documents with patients Accepting payments for treatment fees Bank deposits Answering phones Distributing faxes Facilitating food & drink sales

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Valid Florida Driver's License

  • Ability to manage time and resources
  • Ability to speak coherently and convey concepts
  • Computer proficiency required

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative/office assistant experience preferred
  • One year of experience working in the field of behavioral health preferred
