About The Position

Rothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a full time Front Desk Receptionist based in our Willow Grove, PA office! Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 9 AM to 6 PM and Wednesday 7 AM to 2 PM; OFF Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Job Summary: The MRI Front Desk Receptionist greets, instructs, directs, and schedules patients and visitors. This individual serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff. Key Accountabilities: Increased patient satisfaction, co-pay collection, referral capture, time stamping accuracy, accuracy in demographic and insurance capture, time management (attendance and overtime), chart prep for insurance, co-pay and referral, and cross training to assist in other areas. Essential Duties: Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner. Checks in patients, verifies and updates demographic and insurance information in all appropriate places. Screen and schedule appointments in a timely manner. Assists patients with ambulatory difficulties. Answers telephone in a timely and professional manner, screens calls, answers any questions that are within the area of the positions responsibility, forwards calls, or takes message for preassigned person. Collects and verifies applicable insurance co-pay information and authorizations. Batches out and balances end of day payments. Re-supplies front desk for the day. Pulling and scanning of MRI reports into appropriate applications as necessary. Prints out all related paperwork for patients’ appointments. Attends meetings as required. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization. Assist in rectifying any billing corrections as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED minimum education requirement Minimum of one (1) year’s experience in medical office environment Knowledge of business office procedures & medical terminology (preferred) Computer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite Pay Range: $16.00/hr - $22.00/hr Our Commitment to Employees: Come work at Rothman Orthopaedics! Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED minimum education requirement
  • Minimum of one (1) year’s experience in medical office environment
