About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Front Desk Coordinator to join our busy medical clinic in Manhattan. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service, with recent experience in a front desk role, preferably within a medical office or healthcare setting.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • 2+ years of recent experience in a front desk role, preferably in a medical office or healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers.
  • Friendly with good people skills.
  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Ability to work in a growing and fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule with a 'no task is too small' attitude.
  • Polished and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Make an excellent first impression for all incoming patients.
  • Check patients in and out for appointments and manage the clinic-wide schedule.
  • Monitor and facilitate patient compliance and readiness for their initial visit.
  • Schedule a wide array of appointments for patients and anesthesia for the surgical center.
  • Process patients’ payments and create receipt batches for the Finance department.
  • Utilize technology efficiently, including Outlook, EMR system, and payment platforms.
