About The Position

Are you a warm, organized professional who enjoys being the welcoming face of a mission-driven organization? Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT) is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our community, partners, and staff. This role is essential to creating a hospitable, efficient, and supportive office environment. This is a full-time, hourly, on-site position. Standard hours are generally 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist visitors, guests, and visiting groups with warmth and professionalism
  • Answer and route incoming calls, ensuring callers reach the right person or resource
  • Manage general voicemail and shared communications
  • Support visiting groups by helping them access meeting spaces and basic AV equipment
  • Notify staff of arriving visitors and direct guests to meeting spaces
  • Open, distribute, and scan mail and documents
  • Assist with special projects, mailings, and provide backup support to Operations as needed
