WHAT YOU’LL DO The Front Desk Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the hotel through efficient scheduling, administrative support, and guest service coordination. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage batch processing tasks, coordinate team schedules, handle guest and internal calls, and provide front desk coverage when needed. ROLE EXPECTATIONS Manage and process daily batch reports for reservations, payments, and system reconciliations. Ensure accuracy in posting, balancing, and verifying end-of-day transactions. Collaborate with accounting and reservations teams to resolve discrepancies. Prepare and maintain departmental schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for front desk and guest services. Track time-off requests, shift swaps, and attendance records. Assist with onboarding and training coordination for new team members. Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally. Handle guest inquiries, service requests, and escalations with courtesy and efficiency. Support communication between departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Provide backup coverage for front desk shifts as needed, maintaining the highest level of guest service. Perform check-in/check-out procedures, manage room assignments, and process payments. Maintain a professional presence in the lobby and assist with guest arrivals or departures during peak periods. Assist in compiling daily and weekly reports for management. Help ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and brand service guidelines. Support the coordination of VIP arrivals, group check-ins, and special requests.
