HealthFitness is looking for a part-time, 20 hpw, Front Desk Attendant to join the team at their corporate client site located in West Greenwich, RI. This role is ideal for a dependable professional with strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting, checking-in and assisting customers, provide program information services and membership information.
  • Efficiently responds to client and participant requests, comments or concerns and brings issues to timely and appropriate resolution.
  • Assist with all member service desk administration and processes, answer phones, and process membership enrollments.
  • Collects membership fees and performs related recordkeeping.
  • Participates in membership drives to acquire new participants and enroll new participants.
  • Laundry and locker rooms services.
  • Maintains and updates participant and facility policies as appropriate.
  • Educate participants on policies and procedures.
  • Participate in internal programs and special events.
  • Opening and/or closing duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
