Hotel Desk Agent Summary/Objective The hotel desk agent greets and welcomes guests to the establishment and makes them feel comfortable in their environment. Essential Functions.

Responsibilities
- Greets and welcomes guests.
- Assigns rooms and keys. (never giving out room number out loud)
- Maintains room availability.
- Collects and distributes cash handling for hotel
- Prepares bills and collects payment for visits.
- Assists in solving billing discrepancies.
- Answers inquiries regarding hotel area and services.
- Secures patrons’ valuables in the safe.
- Provides suggestions of places to visit eat and shop.
- Answering phone is using correct brand verbiage.
- Maintains hotel records.
- Insure the safety of our guest’s property assets; never open door for guest’s who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk)
