About The Position

SkyCell is a high-tech supply chain ecosystem combining hybrid hardware, IoT telemetry, and risk-assessment software. As the company expands across the Americas, they are seeking a commercially minded individual contributor to shape and grow their freight forwarding and logistics partner network in the region. This is a strategic, commercially focused role, not a traditional operations position, aimed at identifying growth opportunities, developing high-value logistics partnerships, improving regional forwarding capabilities, and positioning SkyCell for scalable success. The mission is to drive the commercial development of SkyCell’s freight forwarding and logistics partner landscape across the Americas, building, strengthening, and optimizing strategic relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, 4PLs, and other logistics stakeholders to enable regional growth, improve customer value, and support long-term commercial success. The role focuses on creating the network, partnerships, and regional logistics strategy to win more business, scale effectively, and deliver a differentiated customer offering, rather than managing day-to-day shipment bookings.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics partnerships, or supply chain business development
  • Strong knowledge of the Americas forwarding market, including key players, trade lanes, and commercial dynamics
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate opportunities from both a strategic and operational perspective
  • Ability to think beyond day-to-day execution and contribute to network design, market positioning, and scalable growth
  • Proven experience building and developing external partnerships, including negotiation and long-term relationship management
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across Sales, Operations, and Client Services, aligning stakeholders to drive outcomes
  • Hands-on and execution-focused, with the ability to turn strategy into action and deliver measurable results
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to travel across the region
