Thanks for your commitment to Tyson Foods. Management Level: Class 1 Applicants will be considered for TCCS Freezer Lead openings. This position is responsible for the Freezer Inventory; bay by bay and code by code; operate a stand-up forklift and pallet jack , training provided; assist in the loading of trailers and will need to understand the export procedures and manifest procedures. There will be cross-training in the office so as to cover absences/vacations and to better understand the process. This training will be a step in grooming lead team members for future management openings. The Lead will communicate effectively in all aspects of communication; verbal, written and reading. Some examples, but not all inclusive are: giving verbal feedback to supervisors, other departments and co-workers; compiling paperwork at the end of the day, following the daily schedule; Bi-lingual skills a plus. Tasks will include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, lifting, pulling and reaching. These positions work in a cold environment and slippery surfaces; must be willing to come in early and stay late, when necessary. Basic computer skills are necessary; good math skills a plus; TCCS lift, pull, push and carry requirements apply (willing up to 100# continuously). The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Requirements : Successful candidates must have the knowledge to perform at least two jobs in the department. Team Member must be dependable, work well with others, self-motivated and willing to come in early and stay late, when necessary. Team Member must have less than 5 attendance points at the time of this posting and a good safety record (NO Safety suspensions) with in the last 12 months. This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
