About The Position

As our Freezer Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the freezer area, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety and quality standards, and leading a team of freezer workers. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a cold environment.

Requirements

1-3 years in warehouse operations or within cold storage
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety regulations.
Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Ability to work in a freezer environment with temperatures ranging from -10°F to 32°F.

Nice To Haves

Additional education or certifications in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support the operations team by ensuring accurate picking, packing, and shipping in the freezer.
Guide team members to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Monitor product quality and report any issues to supervisors.
Help track inventory levels and update records as needed.
Assist with basic equipment checks and coordinate maintenance needs with the operations team.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
