About The Position

About the Role We are seeking experienced Freestanding Emergency Room Registered Nurses (FSED RNs) to join a fast-paced, high-acuity standalone emergency department. This role requires strong clinical skills, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage diverse and complex emergency cases. You’ll work in a high-volume environment delivering exceptional care to patients across all acuity levels. Available Shifts Nights (Rotating Weekends) Mixed (Rotating Weekends)

Requirements

3+ years of recent acute care ER experience (within the last year)
Active Florida RN license or multistate compact eligibility
ADN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
BLS required within 30 days of hire
Must obtain ACLS, PALS, and CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume FSED setting
Triage, assess, stabilize, and treat patients across all acuity levels
Respond rapidly to life-threatening conditions
Collaborate closely with physicians and the emergency care team
Prioritize care for multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up plans
Maintain compliance with all regulatory, safety, and facility standards
