Employment Details: Employment Type: Full-Time Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire Department: Free Standing Emergency Department Shift Options: Nights and Mixed Shifts Schedule: Rotating Weekends Position Summary: The Free Standing Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process while maintaining compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. This role requires advanced clinical judgment, strong assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced emergency setting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care Emergency Room RN experience, with experience within the last year
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program required
  • Active Florida RN license required or valid compact license with Florida licensure obtained within 90 days of hire
  • Basic Life Support BLS or BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work rotating weekends and mixed shifts

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities
