About The Position

HEARTLINE STAFFING, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a permanent, full-time opportunity in a Free Standing Emergency Department in Tallahassee, Florida. Position Summary: The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced Free Standing Emergency Department setting. This role requires strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage a wide range of patient acuity levels from minor injuries to critically ill patients.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted Registered Nurse license for the position you are applying for
• Minimum of one year of recent acute care Emergency Room RN experience
• Florida RN license or valid multistate compact license required or ability to obtain prior to start
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Registered Nurse Diploma required
• Basic Life Support BLS required prior to employment start date
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support ACLS required within 90 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS required within 90 days of employment start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 90 days of employment start date
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected outcomes for individualized patient care plans.
• Develop and implement care strategies to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
• Manage multiple patient cases simultaneously while prioritizing care needs.
• Provide follow-up care instructions and make appropriate referrals.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care.
